The Le Goyen House is part of the’Audierne. Anchored opposite the port, facing the sea, it has stood the test of time, preserving what makes it what it is: a lively, welcoming home with a deep connection to its local area.
The last few months have seen a new stage in the hotel's development. The hotel has undergone an in-depth renovation, carried out in collaboration with Bleu de Blanc Architects and Wunder architects. The ambition is clear: to develop the House without altering it, revealing its potential while respecting its history and maritime soul.
Renovation designed to respect the site
Rather than a radical transformation, the extension project was built around a subtle balance between modernity, comfort and authenticity. Every architectural choice, every material, every line has been designed to interact with the existing building: the light from the harbour, the volumes of the house, the constant relationship with the outside environment.

Working with agencies Bleu de Blanc Architects and Wunder Architects has enabled us to design the spaces with precision, favouring softness, clarity and a more contemporary interpretation of the site, without ever breaking with its character.
New rooms open up to the sea
The new bedrooms of Maison Le Goyen have been designed to offer a more comfortable, soothing and enveloping experience. The lines are softer, the materials more natural, the colours brighter.

Some rooms open wide onto the port of Audierne, Some offer spectacular views of the water and the rhythm of the boats. Others invite you to relax and unwind in a hushed atmosphere.
Each room retains what makes the Goyen so special: a discreet seaside charm, simple elegance and that feeling of being at home, somewhere else.
A new Spa Nuxe for a wellness break by the sea

Among the major transformations of the Maison Le Goyen, the creation of the new Nuxe Spa with indoor pool fully embodies the desire to offer a more complete holiday experience, in which well-being now occupies a central place.
Conceived as a true interlude, the spa has been designed in natural continuity with the spirit of the house. The materials chosen, the soft, mineral tones, the play of light and the refined volumes create a soothing atmosphere, inspired by the maritime landscape of the Cap Sizun. Here, nothing is superfluous: every detail contributes to a feeling of calm and disconnection.

At the heart of this space, the indoor pool, gently lit by natural light, invites you to slow down. Time stretches out here, carried by the silence, the rhythm of the water and the changing clarity of the day. A place designed to breathe, refocus and simply enjoy the moment.
Maison Le Goyen has chosen to join forces with Nuxe, a leading name in well-being, luxury and natural cosmetics, to bring this space to life. Care Each experience is guided by precise gestures and enhanced by the brand's iconic textures and fragrances.

Several treatment rooms for these moments of relaxation, some of which are equipped with sauna and hammam. Open to privatisation, These cabins offer the opportunity to share a moment of well-being with friends, couples or families, in complete privacy. A rare approach that reinforces the warm, human nature of the experience.
In this space, well-being is experienced without constraint, at your own pace. Visit spa Nuxe becomes a natural extension of your stay: a place where you can take care of yourself, but also a place to meet, share and reconnect, in keeping with the spirit of the Le Goyen House.
Redesigned spaces for the Goyen experience

Beyond rooms and spa, The renovation has enabled a number of communal areas to be redesigned. Some areas, such as the bar, the restaurant, the seminar room and the Yoga area, have been refurbished using a home staging approach: revealing what already exists, bringing coherence, reworking the light, volumes and atmosphere. The aim was not to increase the number of spaces, but to create a better dialogue between them, so that every moment spent at Maison Le Goyen is part of a natural continuity.
A house that looks to the future

Through this renovation, the Le Goyen House affirms a vision: that of a place that evolves with the times, while remaining true to what makes it unique. A house that is open to the harbour, attentive to its surroundings, and designed as a living space as much as a place to stay.
Today, the Goyen is getting a new lease of life, while retaining that precious feeling of being “at home”, facing the sea. But stay tuned for more developments and surprises coming very soon!
