The hotel Le Goyen à Audierne is expanding! An iconic institution of the Finistère, The establishment has been undergoing a complete transformation since the end of October 2024. Soon, more than 1,000 m² will be added to this Breton gem. This transformation will result in a new wellness area with a spa and swimming pool, while the accommodation capacity will be doubled, without ever interrupting the reception of visitors.
A project designed by Bleu de Blanc and Wunder Architects
Entrusted to agencies Bleu de Blanc Architects and Wunder Architects, the transformation of Le Goyen goes beyond simple expansion. The ambition is to create a lifestyle destination deeply rooted in its territory, where Breton authenticity dialogues with modernity. Every square metre of the redesign draws inspiration from the wild landscapes of Cap Sizun, while meeting the requirements of a 4-star hotel.
Design and materials: a tribute to the surrounding nature
The new spaces awaken the senses as soon as you step inside. Natural materials such as raw oak, felted wool and authentic linen are showcased in a play of contrasting textures. Beige, blue and khaki green tones create a soothing atmosphere, punctuated with vibrant touches to infuse vitality and light. A vintage spirit is evident in a few carefully selected pieces, while nautical references such as ropes and old maps recall the traditions of marina life.
Spa and wellness: a suspended break
When you enter the spa, you feel as though you have stepped into a timeless world. The indoor pool stretches out before you, lined with azure mosaics and enhanced by soft lighting. The windows, designed to capture natural light, offer glimpses of the ocean's changing reflections. The treatment rooms will soon offer a range of soothing rituals, enhanced by a selection of high-end beauty products from a partnership that will soon be unveiled, which will enhance each treatment.
Rooms and suites: sea breezes and absolute comfort
About twenty New rooms will soon be opening their doors. These light-filled spaces feature large windows offering panoramic sea views of the port of Audierne.. The refined and authentic furniture complements the luxurious textiles: woven wool throws and corduroy cushions create a cocoon where calm reigns supreme. Rooms where charm and comfort invite you to relax, while decorative touches tell a story of the seaside.
September 2025: a new chapter for Goyen
In September 2025, the inauguration of the spa area, swimming pool and guest rooms will mark the completion of the first phase of the project. Le Goyen will continue its transformation, with further developments planned for 2026.
Le Goyen is preparing to write a new chapter in its history, remaining faithful to its Breton identity while embracing a resolutely welcoming modernity.
